Samson Maritime Safety Policy

The Samson Maritime safety philosophy is that the health and welfare of its people are among the most important considerations in any undertaking. Additionally, the protection of company assets and the environment are also primary objectives.

  • No job is so important that we cannot take the time to do it properly and complete it safely. This philosophy enables Samson Maritime to deliver the highest quality services to its clients and the safest work environment for personnel.
  • Samson Maritime aims to provide a place of employment that is free from recognized hazards and complies with applicable national regulations.
  • Samson Maritime believes its personnel are the greatest asset of the company and is committed to providing its personnel with the safest working environment possible.
  • No project or operation will be undertaken without prior assessment of health, safety and environmental risks. Understanding that safety, accident prevention and environmental protection are operational responsibilities, this philosophy requires all personnel at all levels to be responsible for the prevention of job-related injuries and illnesses, property damage and environmental accidents through the use of good judgment and the diligent and consistent application of company guidelines and procedures.
  • Attitudes to health and safety are given the same priority as other business attributes and will be assessed regularly.
